Kristin Bartlett
Active Living Program Coordinator, Alzheimer Society of Toronto
Kristin holds a degree in Theatre and Community Development and Therapeutic Recreation, specializing in working with older adults. She has built a career in community arts, creating meaningful and creative spaces for people of diverse communities to establish their sense of belonging. Kristin has produced community-driven theatrical works with MabelleArts and Mixed Company Theatre, using storytelling to promote social change and resilience. Her work with The Dotsa Bitove Wellness Academy, an arts organization for people living with dementia, introduced her to an art-based relational caring philosophy. After the Academy closed, she helped launch The Bitove Method, a virtual art program for people with dementia. Currently, as the Active Living Program Coordinator at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, Kristin applies her creative background to develop holistic programming that supports people with dementia and their care partners to thrive across the city of Toronto.
Tracey Adams-Thibaudeau

A proud graduate of Centennial College’s Recreational and Leisure Services program (with honours, 2011), Tracey has continually expanded her expertise in the field through ongoing education. Her areas of focus include Montessori Techniques, The PIECES Model, Horticultural Therapy, Sensory Therapy, Gentle Persuasive Approach, and Therapeutic Touch. She has also contributed her knowledge by sitting on the Professional Advisory Committee for Seneca College and on the faculty at Centennial College, teaching Gerontology and Wellness. In her current role as an Active Living Program Coordinator at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto, Tracey helps people living with dementia and their care partners engage in meaningful activities, ensuring that they continue to participate in the things they enjoy every day.
